Thai Wires

On our recent trip to Thailand I came across this mass of wires in Chiang Mai. These are all primarily telecommunications (phone and internet). This style of wiring is seen all over the city. While not pretty, it’s effective. My internet worked wherever we went, a true sign of civilization these days!

Here’s to Revolutionary Leaders

John Adams was a lawyer and a farmer, a graduate of Harvard College, the husband of Abigail Smith Adams, the father of four children. He was forty years old and he was a revolutionary.

On this President’s Day, here’s to truly revolutionary leaders who change the world for good. In this case John Adams, the second president of the United States of America.

Camino de Santiago 2018!

Dawn and I are excited to announce that we are again taking a group to walk the Camino de Santiago this fall, September 22-30. We would love for you to join us!

The Camino is an ancient pilgrimage across Northern Spain, walked by Christian pilgrims for over 1,000 years. In my experience it’s a “thin place” in the world, a place where it is somehow easier to gain a sense of the eternal. We will walk the last leg of the Camino, about 70 miles, in 6 days.

If you have any interest at all, please let us know. Visit the website cruadventures.com for more info. We have spots for 20 people and they will fill up quickly!

Christians Persecuted Here

Open Doors USA just published its 2018 World Watch List, the listing of the 50 most dangerous countries in the world in which to be a Christian. Please visit their site.

More importantly, please pray for the many followers of Jesus living under the ongoing threat of violence. Pray for their deliverance and pray for the light of Jesus to shine in such dark places.
