When walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain, you meet plenty of cows. You need to watch your step.
The cows meet plenty of pilgrims, but don’t seem to have much to say.

Cows communicate with their eyes. They chew their cud if satisfied. Take you in with their eyes. Lower their head and shake it if dissatisfied. At that point move out of their path, because they may grow to dislike you.
They are not my favorite animal since they communicate so little. But I sure like their milk – especially in a shake.
